Whether you want to sample fresh seafood at a local restaurant, watch a fishing boat unload, or embark on your own boating adventure, Eastpoint is a fun place to be. East Point Georgia can afford all kinds of activities to keep you busy throughout your stay and travel.
Practically for children of all ages, there are a variety of activities at East Point Recreation Center and Eastpoint Park. Families can also enjoy activities for children, including the South Georgia Velodrome, a multisport athletics event hosted by the West Georgia Cycling Association, Georgia State University Cycling Club and Eastern Georgia Sports Center, as well as a variety of other events.
In addition to the existing employment opportunities at East Point, you can help the city identify itself as a potential job here with the Eastpoint Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), a nonprofit organization.
East Point Historic Civic Block, consisting of the East Point Civic Center, the Georgia Museum of Natural History and several other historic buildings. Popular attractions in Atlanta include the Atlanta Art Museum, Georgia State University and Georgia Tech. Of course, there is no doubt that East Germany is closer than anywhere else.
East Point is located in the city of Atlanta, bordered to the north, east and west by Georgia State University, the Georgia Museum of Natural History and Georgia Tech. East Point is the headquarters of the 2nd Infantry Division of the US Army and is served by the 1st Tank Division and the 4th Infantry Regiment, the 2nd Infantry Battalion and the 7th Army.
An integrated bus and train system makes it easy to get anywhere you need to go. The MARTA network provides easy access to the city of Atlanta, Georgia State University, Georgia Museum of Natural History and Georgia Tech, as well as Atlanta International Airport.
If you need more variety, you don't have to travel to experience a big city, but you are only a short drive from Atlanta. With small urban accommodation you save money and still have plenty of activities to do. Within the city limits you will find a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.
If you prefer a big city with bright lights, head to East Point and stay in one of the small hotels. Bring a blanket and fold up the chair, enjoy a movie, dine outside or spend an evening in a local bar or restaurant where your group members can enjoy the best of both worlds.
If you just want to take a walk and enjoy the evening breeze, Egan Park is a good place to visit. Children enjoy visiting Eagan Park, and if you expect a range of hiking trails and activities for adults, this is the place to visit.
Plan to fully experience each of these close-knit and individually diverse destinations. Plan what attractions and activities you want to include in your itinerary and when you want to see and do what.
