Finally, the Food Well Alliance wants to establish City Agriculture Plans in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett, the three largest cities in Georgia with the largest agricultural population. ArtsXchange, operated by the Southeast Community Cultural Center, is one of the largest arts and culture exchange programs in the state of Georgia. We try to use the arts as a means for all cultures to better understand each other and themselves through the exchange of innovative artistic experiences and educational opportunities. TLW grows into a better community by connecting people to the land through food, education, art, culture and community engagement, as well as through food and agriculture.
CompostNow's vision is to close the food waste cycle by empowering community members and local businesses to divert their compostable materials from landfills and instead use these nutrients to create nutrient-rich soils. Our aim is to use food production to create a culture of health and well-being both on the plate and in the community. Closing the food waste "cycle" is essential to building healthy soils and creating a resilient local food system.
TLW uses its expertise to show how food can be a bridge between different cultures, backgrounds and experiences.
